I believe that the government should allow the backdoor but not to all devices. I think they should only to people who have done bad in the past. Apple does not want this backdoor to “all iPhone’s”. They believe in privacy for all people. Apple originally said no to opening up the phone. According to Trusted Reviews the court filing specifically refers to Farook's iCloud account. Prosecutors say he seems to have disabled the iCloud data feature a month and a half before the shooting, leaving investigators unable to access evidence that only resides on the phone and has not been backed up to the cloud.
Also according to BGR “Apple has been taking criticism from several lawmakers over the past couple of days who have expressed outrage that Apple is refusing to help the FBI in this investigation. Senator Tom Cotton, for example, accused Apple of being more concerned with protecting “a dead ISIS terrorist’s privacy over the security of the American people.” http://bgr.com/2016/02/19/apple-vs-fbi-doj/

My Question: Do You think that the Backdoor will be connected to all phones?

  1. Well Carson, according to The Customer Letter from Apple, Tim Cook stated, "But now the U.S. government has asked us for something we simply do not have, and something we consider too dangerous to create. They have asked us to build a backdoor to the iPhone." As it says, it only opens a backdoor for the IPhone, or any Apple devices.

  2. I think that the government would want to put the device into every phone. It might also stop some crime. But, it would be a massive privacy invasion.

  5. yes, Because the code can be used on any apple phone. Because the code is able to work on any apple phones.
